What an eventful week here at CrossFit Strode Station! It has been great seeing old faces and meeting new ones. We are so excited to bring the functional fitness of CrossFit to the wonderful city of Winchester. We have been overwhelmed with the outpouring of community we have received.
We want you to see results and success in and out of the gym. CrossFit is designed to meet the athlete at their fitness level while pushing them to perform at their best. There is no excuse that age or athletic ability limits your ability to CrossFit. Each and every workout is designed such that it can be scaled to meet your needs.
Nobody wants to be average; everyone wants to reach his or her goals. It’s so easy to imagine yourself achieving those goals and celebrating success but it’s very difficult to look at those goals in everyday manageable steps. The dedication spent day in and day out to achieve that major goal seam daunting and tedious. We all want to share the feeling of a new Personal Record, or dropping a pant size but we don’t want people staring as we struggle to run a mile. Thankfully, as Zig Ziglar says, we don’t have to be great to start but you have to start to be great. If you never start, you’ll never finish. Take that first step outside your comfort zone and toward your goal but imagine taking that first step with an entire community to support you. Imagine finishing out your last round of the WOD with your entire CrossFit community cheering you on. Imagine running that tough mile next to people who take the time to help you reach your goal, day in and day out.
